El Ranchito was created specifically to serve children and youth from low-income families. If a family qualifies for the federal free lunch program at school, a child/youth is eligible for El Ranchito. Eligible campers are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. How do you register?Visit the El Ranchito office at El Buen Samaritano Episcopal Mission to fill out all the paperwork and have a short applicant interview. Each child/youth applicant must:
Both a parent/guardian and applicant must come by to apply and fill out papers. Each child/youth must have a health exam from a doctor before being accepted to camp. We will give you the health forms to take to a doctor or clinic. You return them to us when they are complete. No one will be accepted into camp unless medical forms are complete. Conservation Corps Waiting list information: When the spaces fill for camp we will place applicant on waiting lists. Applicants must complete the entire registration process in order to be considered on the waiting list.
