Come to an El Ranchito camp, and you’ll live outdoors, learn all about the natural world, and have the time of your life. El Ranchito offers three sessions of Nature Discovery Camp for 4th through 9th graders, and a Conservation Corps session for 10th – 12th graders. We make camp fun for all young people, and affordable for all eligible families.

IMPORTANT NOTICE from our Camp Director Justine Salsbury and our Registration Director Nancy Zepeda

Dear Families and Friends of El Ranchito,

The health and safety of our campers is always our highest priority. As coronavirus (or COVID-19) is an increasingly significant concern in the U.S., with our medical director, Dr. Brian Temple, we are closely monitoring developments related to COVID-19.

At this time, we are still planning to move forward with El Ranchito as planned in June and July. We will be in close communication should anything change. We will not hold any in person office hours at People’s Community Clinic or El Buen Samaritano and will inform you when those office hours begin again.

Because camp happens in a close community, our health policy has always taken great care to develop and maintain medical preparedness. El Ranchito has a communicable disease plan in place that will be revised in cooperation with our medical staff and public health authorities as additional COVID-19 guidance is provided. The American Camp Association has stated that coronavirus currently poses no immediate concern for camps.

We will continue to keep the El Ranchito community updated as new information becomes available. Please feel free to reach out with questions or concerns.

Take Good Care
