
Texas Rivers Expedition
The Texas Rivers Expedition is a 6-day, 5-night traveling camp hosted by El Ranchito and The Meadows Center for Water and the Environment.
–Participants should be within 18 – 22 years of age and curious about water issues in Texas.
–Participants can expect to connect with lots of academic, career, recreation, and service opportunities related to water.
–Staff will provide full-time support, guidance, transportation, meals, and gear related to all activities during the Expedition.
–Lodging at the Texas Rivers Expedition will include: 3 nights of tent camping and 2 nights in an air-conditioned bunkhouse.
Eligible Participants include: 18 to 22 year-olds who are graduates of El Ranchito Conservation Corps, a similar program, or qualify for the Pell Grant.

Meals and gear provided. $50 to register.
Expedition Costs:
- $50
- Tuition and trip expenses granted to participants at no cost thanks to generous contributions from the Shield Ranch Foundation and The Meadows Center for Water and the Environment.
